hello everyone!

not sure whether I've already posted an intro (or maybe that was on the old forums?..), but anyway.

I live in a pretty, cold part of Europe.
There are amazing lakes and rivers, but they're icy year round. (brrrr)
which is why I do most "serious" freediving during summer only.

I'm also a synchro swimmer, and occasionally, an underwater model and mermaid performer (ya really).

I'd love to meet other people who are into freediving and who are fascinated by the world underwater.
but keep spear guns away from me, especially when I'm wearing a fishtail :P thanks.

thanks!
at the moment, I live in Germany, but I hope to relocate.

I have family in Iceland.
It's gorgeous there, but not sure whether it's a good idea diving-wise :D

If you happen to be near my place (South- Netherlands) you're welcome to join in for a training session.

Maybe ask on the AIDA Deutschland website for buddies? and CMAS also has a big Apnoë section.

I do know nearly nothing about iceland, however I like the Scandinavian culture, if that has any bearing on the Icelandic culture.
I would also miss the trees, If I were to live there I would develop a social movement to plant trees and soil development.
In regard to the waters, I think you may have some luck in the sea, as the ocean current brings warm water from the US.

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars
