Hi everyone, thanks for the welcome, truth be told I don't know the first thing about spearguns, and not much about forums.I got a undersee bazooka I would like to restore,as I got no spear or elastics and I have no idea how it works I hope someone can help me

Have you checked out the Spearfishing subforum? There's a DIY section there, which is likely to contain some good info.

HI Stefanus, welcome. Don't load the speargun out of the sea ;) Are you a freediver? BatRay is right (of course :)), there are several amateur and professional speargun builders on the forum (including, occasionally, big name like Rob Allen and Darryl Wong) and several areas that should be of interest to you. Rob Allen in particular has done a lot research on spears, which he sometimes shares on the forum. The Rob Allen railgun models are well designed and a useful reference point.

Rubbers are available from spearfishing stores and on-line. If your speargun can use bulk rubber (many can) then, spearitco.com are a good source that I have used in the past, they also sell on ebay; they have a good range and the rubber is fresh (store it in a sealed bag in your freezer to maintain that freshness ;)).
