If you ever come out this way let me know, we have a network of freediving and spearfishing friends around the country. The water was warm enough for a good 5 hour session yesterday.

I have a place in Javea (nr. Valencia) and know the area well but usually fish alone, local spaniards very secretive about the good spots ;-). Will be there for the last week in July if you know anyone there.

i suppose i miss the Indian food :waterwork ,and how drunk the English :girlie girls get, got to love emmmm. Spainish/Catalan girls bit more reserved.

but hey if you need to find the Brit influence, Easy jet and Ryan Air sure help by spreading them out along the coast.

Missing the local food? There are two [ame="http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthread.php?t=61008"]recipes[/ame] on these very boards that will put that right (really worth trying, especially the second one )

They are readily available in most places so you shouldnt have much trouble, I recognise those recipes from a book by Madhur Jaffrey, the godess of Indian cooking Old Lister certainly knows his stuff

Yes I've often thought a decent Indian place would go down well in Spain; all the ones i've been to are s**t :hmm Catalan girls are worth the effort you put in :wave

There are a couple of good ones in Barcelona and especially Madrid. Indian restaurants I mean, not girls. And about overfishing, I think it's the British girls who are a danger to the local species, they only fly over for the three "S" - Sun, Sea and Spearfishing. Right, Alison?
