I will tell anyone who has posted 3 or more catch reports on the gsy thread this year the exact location...

Tbh the location is pretty logical for flatty bashing.... But I needed the kayak...
I was in yesterday for a 4 hour session, paddled out to my fave reef for some good dives. Diving well altho vis was poor. Saw lots of pollack up to about 6lb, which were left. Also some clonking big mullets which were not on the menu.
No flatties seen on the gravel so I decided to swim back in, back around the knife, and back in via the inside of the knife, towing the kayak! Very few fish seen, almost barren!
I saw one of those Smartwave av3500 boats out there, 3people and it looked heavy in the water! Also not much freeboard at the bow. Very interesting to see it close up, from the water.

never know I may be back yet! Still in North Sea at minute though. :head All this sea and not a snorkel and mask to my name! 
That makes me feel a bit better! Went there a couple of days ago and saw very little, but though it was just me being out of practice.
Went in this evening at L'Eree. Visibility was quite bad. Saw a couple of small bass and a few very small flatties but not much else.
Managed an hour-long pootle round Bordeaux late Sat night. Scored a size bass after a few seconds and a size plaice a while later. Quite a few small bass around and a couple of small pollack. Not much else.
Oh, if anyone bumps into a mullet with half a face, that's regretably my fault.
I tracked him for a while but couldn't do anything about him whilst my gun was unloaded and tangled. Had to take the gamble of stopping to reload and hoping to find him again. Alas, it didn't pay off.

Didn't bother with the speargun, just went with the stringer as I was not expecting too much. Entered the water at 7.15pm from Rousse and for the 1st hour, my pessimism was justified, nice and interesting, but nothing worth hunting.
As darkness fell, things started to liven up, saw a few cuttlefish and spider crabs, then just after 'lights on' I came across a sole, about a pound, in about 3m of water. Down I went and straight on to the stringer. Saw a couple of small sole and plaice then came across a clonking plaice, at least 3lb, maybe more, went for it but missed and it didn't hang around.
Saw nothing worth taking for another half an hour, then as I was heading for home, came across a hot spot, bagged 4 plaice and 2 sole, also missed a few more, all in about 3-4m of water. Decided to call it a day after 2 hours in the water, then had a 20 minute swim back to Rousse.
All of the fish were on the other side of the bay, out from the south side of Chouet.

Well done andy, sounds like a busy session. Maybe delete the specific location tho, or there won't be any left lol!
I see you made an appearance in the press yesterday...
I got in for a couple of hours yesterday, saw lots of fish including mullet, bass, pollack and a shoal of bream. I didnt take anything home, but it was good to watch some shoals

WE are looking forward to coming over. Nice to here that there may be a few fish around! Weather/swell forecast for weekend seems to vary depending where u look, but we are hoping for some reasonable conditions.
Any big fish seen?

Neil from Apnea has donated a £50 voucher for the biggest bass....so vis and swell permitting hope to meet a few of u this weekend for a friendly fish in.
