Guinness World Record (of a sort)

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Can't dive to 122m? You could still have set a freediving world record this last weekend by joining a couple of hundred same-minded fellows at the Lake of Garda in Italy. Not sure what the Guinness Book editorial policy is these days... anyway 284 people "freedived" together for 20s.
If italian-through-a-loudspeaker is not one of your languages, you might just as well fast forward to 3:30min.

Curse I wasn't there!
Setting a Guinness record on a 20 seconds breathold would have been a fat, fat, chunky fat chance indeed!

Sure: gearing up is the part I hate too. But it is obvious they did it for the sake of promoting the sport.
And after all, a Guinness is still a Guinness! :friday
