Had my first "oh shit" moment while diving the other day

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
"The place is absolutely gorgeous when it's not surrounded by 20-somethings day drinking and dicking around."

No offense Drew, but that's exactly what you were doing by our standards... dicking around and risking your life unnecessarily.

The Zen that we experience freediving comes from letting go, but doing so in a safe and controlled manner.

The experience which you've described goes against everything taught in any professional free diving class.

I'm glad you made it out alive. I'm glad that we're reading your words and not your obituary.
