All the best from me too...I wonder what a young 70 year old does on his birthday?

Happy Birthday Bill! You're an inspiration to us all. -70 meters at 70 years young, not to mention the 8 minute breathholds - WOW!! :friday

Aloha!

Damn that's encouraging. Older'n me and still divin'. You go, Bill!

Thanks for all the good vibes. At this age it's hard to deny that one is getting older but I plan to try for a little bit more.

'I wonder what a young 70 year old does on his birthday?'

Stay up until midnight last night, read a few messages from Europe, drank one rum and coke (doesn't take much anymore) and slept in. Checked the obituaries in the morning paper and when my name wasn't there, I accepted that as a clearance for one more lap around the sun. The day just kept getting better. Drank Kona coffee, called my mother, lunch with my feathered buddy, e-mails and phone calls all day long, special dinner with the teen age girl that I fell in love with in '54 and even had enough time to lift a few weights, do lung stretches and spend a half-hour on the bike. All-in-all a real great day. Everyone should be so lucky.
