I was thinking a could buy a full handle/mechanism ment to replace the handles on tube/rail guns(omer caymon ect...) And use a wooden barrel and muzzel, tapered to fit like a tube.... Im good with carpentry but crap with metal work so building a mech is out of the question... Also all the pre built mechs are running alot higher than my price range.... What you guys think :)

Look into the Mako reverse mech. It's pretty sexy, super strong and not expensive at all.

I've not built a gun with it, but I have one on my Mako ETR.

Very sweet.

For handles, I might consider doing what I've seen on here before... Use an inner core of wood and then mould Sugru silicone around it for a PERFECT / customized fit for your hand with your gloves of choice, if any. I just use Saran wrap to stop from marring the gloves in the process.

Pathos D'Angelo 2. Awesome trigger, awesome ergonomic handle.
