Hey, thanks naiad, mundial, Lockedin, flyboy748, iceselkie, BatRay & DeepThought :thankyou :thankyou :thankyou - what a nice surprise! My computer at home is sick, so I just saw all your wishings & congrats today at work - really warms my heart!
I've had a great birthday yesterday, buzzing with excitement & feeling very festive, leaving work early (after arriving late!), splurging on some nice T-shirts and concluding with a nice meal with my loved ones at my favourite seaside restaurant.
There's a better atmosphere here now, a slight feeling of optimism in the air, and fighting has stopped, at least for a while - what more can I ask for my birthday?
And a brief observation from my miraculous, unexpectedly long stay on this planet: when I was 20, I thought that everything beyond 25 would just be downhill, but by 28 I somehow got a handle on it, and ever since then, each passing year feels better and better - so I wish this feeling to all of you! There is so much to experience and discover here, and youth is definitely wonderful & sweet, but there are many other dimensions to life as well (or so I try to comfort myself), so just enjoy!

No luck with water, folks, just some spray from the waves hitting the sea-wall - but it was a great birthday anyway, one of the best, and the holiday spirit carries on today, too!

Thanks, Eyal, that would be great! I'll have no choice but to buy a new comp. soon, but it would be nice to keep the old one around if possible. After three days of rest, It's working again now, but with no email . Anyway, we're off to Sdot Yam now (Friday afternoon) - I'll PM you my cellular, in case you're around.

Much belated thanks, Sara & Said!
We were awfully busy on the final days of school holiday, getting Noa all ready for second grade and just having fun together. It's back to school & work tomorrow :waterwork (at least Noa is looking forward to it - where the hell did she get this love of school? I'm sure it's not genetic!)
