I've noticed after I hold my breath, I get this sudden spike of happiness. I've hear/talked about this before, but I was wondering if someone could point me into the right direction about scientific proof/articles about this.

There used to be a thread around here somewhere, where we talked about apnea induced euphoria, its probably the calm state of mind and lack of oxygen and c02 buildup that brings it about. but for actual proof of these things Id say the best person to chip in here would be Trux :)
