this year it comes early
uselly it comes with cristmess & Chanuka

Actually, The Ramadan comes 10 days earlier each year - the Muslim year is strictly lunar, so it has approx. 355 days. The hebrew year is lunar, too, but it has a leap month each 4th year to compensate and stay coordinated with both sun & moon cycles - but I digress:

Ramadan Kareem! And Happy Rosh-Hashana (Jewish new year)! And Happy Fall Equinox (just a couple of days ago)!

May we ALL enjoy a year of happiness, peace, tolerance & understanding all over this here blue spaceship of ours!

Peace,
:) Ofer

It's the afternoon prayer at 15h00... you can't believe how many "Muslims" on our project have just had a huge lunch. :vangry

I just spent a week with them in Iraq, taking care that their food contained no pork, they were preaching to me all the time about their Muslim ways, I have just got back to the office and they were all sat around the dinner table with KFC :vangry and it's not the break fast time yet...

Hippocrits the lot of them!!!! :vangry

sara,
i started out this post in good sentiment, I believe that the comments in your last post does not fit that general mood and i cant say i appreciate them and the generalization they contain, that could be misunderstood from a number of people. I expected more from you as a moderator.

"Hypocrisy" applies to anyone who does something against their professed beliefs. In this case, they insisted that their beliefs be honored, but did not honor them personally. Sara obviously respects their right to religion, but not their hypocrisy.
Don't worry; your thread is still safe :) none of us are disagreeing with the sentiment of it.

Ramadan Karim
Shana Tova
Happy Robanukah
etc.

Sara, if someone obeys A and not B in his religion, let him do so, much better than following blindly. I don't think it as hypocracy to obbey only some rules as faith is something personal.
By the way, it's almost impossible to obey all rules in the jewish religion (not that I bother with any of them).

Good call, but I am sooo tired after work and Iftar, all I want to do is nap!
