A few pics off my first Barracudas, fished in Ibiza..back at home I have not seen many but here there are plenty.
I have speared 5 cudas, unfortunately the first one one the biggest and the fattest is not on these pics ( I am not able to download these pics since they are on a camera and I am not at home.(The pics are made with my mobile)).

They react on espetos and " a la caida" (dropping from above) it has been possible to spear a few.

I really enjoy them on the BBQ!!:t

Ps. soon I will post more pics of my trips..grouper, meagre, gilthead.

very nice, yesterday i took a shot at a big one (estimate 35 - 40 lbs) and my spear just bounced off of him..very tricky fish to hunt here sometimes, other times, they just swim right up to me and look at the long pointy thing in my hand

You guys have different ones, these ones are a bit smaller overhere, got any pics?
Greets!!

nice cuda :D I used to use shells or small rocks thrown from the surface ahead of me to attract them. they will come in quickly to investigate :D

how did you cook them?

That cuda looks like typical mediterranien cudas..They might be a school when u hunt.
Good catch..

Super Catches Mike!
