Hard delete thread, not soft

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Hi,

I host a forum (Wisconsin Freedivers & Spearos) & have a couple of threads I would like to delete. However, when I try to delete them, it only gives the option to "Soft Delete", which means the thread still stays on the forum, but is unable to be used.

I would like to totally remove them from the forum...how can I do this? I would like to get rid of some clutter...thanks.

Gene

It is how Stephan has set the permissions Gene. You have the moderators control panel for your forum and that will only allow soft delete (hides it from the riff raff like me) you have to have the team leaders cp or the admin cp to hard delete. I wouldn't worry about it as long as we can't see it :)

Gene,

You can PM Stephan and ask to be able moderate or PM me which threads and I'll see if I can do it- I have such powers over many, but not all, threads.

Jon

Gene,

I'll PM you some more details on how to control those sorts of things in your sub-forum.

Thanks!

Stephan - can you send me the same

I have the same problem with the saltfree forums

thanks
