hawaiian reef fish??

does anyone know what reef fish that are common in hawaii that are edible, i really don't know, thanks for any help

As for reef fish, Uhu (parrotfish) is probably the most sought after. All types of goatfish (moano, moana, weke, moana kali, kumu) are also pretty good to eat. Some rocks and ledges hold lots of snapper (toau) which are great eating. Depending on the depth of reef and hunting terrain, you could very well see all types of mid/blue water fish in the mix.
