Found this forum via my Google alert, thought I'd stop in and see who else can hold their breath.
Born and raised on the water (fresh) scuba'd Baja east and west side and been living at 6,400 in CO for 30+ years. Gonna head south to Exuma/Bahamas in a couple more years and thought I could make some new friends and hopefully pick up some tricks gathering my dinners from the salt.
Got a few good Baja stories from my past, hope this forum doesn't have the "always" be politically correct responders, if not, looking ahead for some good water discussions, having lived on a freshwater lake for 20 years, got some interesting tricks I've learned, but you salt water guys have "allot" more goin' on than boat propellers and weekend warriors:friday.

Welcome Island Drive. What Bahama plans are you percolating?

Got a small lot near the water, gonna do my buildout and then spend my time gathering and exploring and enjoying the wonderful people who populate this beautiful part of the world.
How about U?

welcome!

I hear baja is getting a little sketchy. My buddy's uncle went down on a surf trip and as he was driving through tiajuana to rosarita he got pulled over by two cops who proceded to hold them up at gun point. Stole all their gear(suits, boards, money,TRUCK). They then got chased in a cab back to the boarder. It was in the paper and surfer mag too. two of the guys he was with spoke fluent spanish and even had family in baja.

Sounds like you probably have the area down. I hear the diving is phenomenal
