Hi Guys,

Heading to Columbia in a few weeks and would welcome any advice spearos could give me on good spots and the spearfishing community there.
Thanks

I was in Colombia about two years ago. I got started on spearfishing in a town there called Capurgana. A small town in the Caribbean within walking distance to the border of Panama. I met a bunch of awesome local guys there and during the day we went out to reefs and polespeared lionfish in 40-50' of water. At night I went freediving for lobster. The town is about an hours flight from Medellin, otherwise it's a nightmare of bus and boat. Very remote and not accessible by road, but supposedly some of the best diving in the Colombian Caribbean.

It was definitely one of the major highlights from a 2 month trip through Peru and Colombia, very cool town. It helps if you speak Spanish.

mi español es rudimentario, pero está bien para una pequeña charla muchas gracias su buena información te lo agradezco.
