On 12 & 13 September, AIDA Hellas launches the international freediving competition at Loutraki (Iraio region). The competition is organised in collaboration with the ARION association and is under the auspice of Municipality of Loutraki.
The competition if of type "National Open" and follows the regulations of AIDA international. Duration of the championship is 2 days and includes the following disciplines (sea only): constant weight (CWT), constant weight no fins (CNF), free immersion (FIM). Athletes will have the right participate in any one of the three disciplines per each day. At the end of competitions day one, athetes will announce discipline that they wish to participate in the following day (13/09), as well as performance for one of the three disciplines. This gives the abillity to the athletes to participate both days in any of the 3 disciplines they wish (1 or 2 out of 3). Maximum number of participants is 40.
