Hello everyone! New to the free diving and spearfishing world! Wife got me some goggles and flippers and a snorkel at the beach and the water was clear and I seen tons of little fish so I bought a Hawaiian pole spear and started shooting them yes I did clean them most were the size of a decent brim! So the next day I found myself at the cape lookout rock jetty chasing sheeps head! And having the time of my life doing it wife watched with her snorkel and goggles. Saw my first shark in the water his “neck”(between eyes and gills) was about the size of A basketball! And I didn’t freak out I had a stare down with it as it swam by about ten feet or so away! So anyhow anybody have any recommendations for some gear plan on going back in October and September when I can get away for a weekend! P.s. anyone know what kind of weight belt I would need I weight 205 and am 6 foot 2! Thanks for all the help !
