Hi everyone, I moved to vancouver couple years ago from the south of France and I was wondering what's spearfishing look like in the vancouver area. Which kind of gear are you guys using. I would like to bring all my stuff because Im actually back in France but I just want to make sure it's worth it. I'll be interested by free diving too eventually.
If anyone have some info that will be awesome
Cheers
Michael

Vancouver is a pretty hot spot for free diving. You'll find plenty of info if you look around.

I never ended up spearing much while I lived there, plenty of freedivers around though... but a short trip to Vancouver Island or in the Gulf Islands and you're pretty well setup for spearing all sorts of fish.
