Hello all, am from Trinidad and Tobago new to spearfishing and just trying to learn all I can to be safe and fully enjoy the sport. A teacher by trade but I think I must be a fisherman at heart the way I love the water.. Well great to be here and hope to get some knowledge and make some friends along the way...:friday

Hi ya Etherial. Trinidad and Tobago posts always catch my attention, as was born on the Trinidad and married on Tobago. If I had the funds I'd visit more often but have only managed 1 visit in 37 years! (long flight from the UK!)

I remember watching the people from the village set a net from the beach on my visit and everyone helping pull the net in and then the catch being shared out by the locals. A very wide variety of fish.

I think with the water temp, and crystal clear waters your in the ideal place. I'd rate your reefs as some of the best to snorkel. Very colourful.
