Hi everybody im new to the whole freediving scene, my name is Jerrett and was wondering if there was anything in North Bay, Ontario. I tried searching on googel but came up with nothing. so if any one nows anything here that would be awsome cause this would be amazing. I love the idea of being able to stay under water for min's at a time. And if not would i be able to train by my self (perfiably with a buddy) in shalow water. The lake here you have to walk for about 10-20 min till its finaly up to your neck. I found your site while watching some videos on youtube. Basicaly to see if i can find any techniques that i can do on land for know till i can find a local swiming pool to go to and train a little further. so if anybody knows anything i figured this site would help some what.
And you can get a hold of me on skype my name is jerrett_goudie

In the mean time, do searches for static tables.

Also, for the first week... Every other day in the AM, do a series of 5 breathholds for your maximum time. Take a 3 min break I between an really try to relax as much as possible and clear your mind.

Time them with a stopwatch and each one should get easier and likely increase in duration (more or less)

After 3-5 days doing this you will likely impress yourself with your breath hold time!

All the best and stay safe and don't train in water without a trained safety / buddy.
