I joined DB last year. May have made some vague mention about selling my house, driving a nail through the forehead of a few people I didn't care for and buying a boat in order to try and break a record in the worlds slowest circumnavigation.
My new boat is called Wind Shadow (corny, not my name but I will never paint a name on the transom as beautifully as the previous owner so, the name stays). She is a '78 CSY 44. Built like the proverbial outhouse. I am outfitted for scuba, gear, compressor etc. At the moment my scuba gear is home to a spider who has built an intricate web which I do not care to disturb. In other words, I'd much rather be freediving. I am available for charter, SCUBA, freediving, sailing, carousing, spearfishing (no guns, only Hawaiian slings and polespears in the Bahamas, that should test your mettle.). I can accomodate 4 people comfortably.
I'm a PADI DM, USCG captain. I am waiting out the hurricane season herein Abaco, the water is 81-82 degrees F, f-ing amazing. I have no clientele at present so I am affordable. My web site is under contemplation, it will be up in the not too distant future after which I will be prohibitively expensive, not even my mother will be able to afford to speak to me.
Take care, Raif
