Hello from beautiful (?) Ohio!

Hi gang...new to to the group, and also new to SERIOUS freediving, here. I'm really anxious to get into it, and I'm planning on going down to FL to train with Performance as soon as I can afford to (with all new scuba gear to buy this summer, money is VERY tight)! I think I'm almost OBSESSED, since it's always on my mind, even at work, and I'm actually a bit depressed that I'll have to wait so LONG to take real courses. So, of course I have questions, but I'll put them in a new thread in training. Would love to hear from anybody out there.....especially if you're in OH or NW PA!

I concur with your tag line. Went camping at Timothy Lake (Mt. Hood National Forest) over the weekend to find out how out of shape I am. My down time was relatively decent last summer. I need to train BAD! Freediving for crawdad's is a good way to train (and eat too).
