Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd give a quick introduction on myself before posting elsewhere.
I've had my first freediving experience last summer while visiting the island of
Corsica in the Mediteranean Sea. The idea of buying myself some freediving gear
and try out some freediving came after reading an article in the scientific magazine EOS
on Patrick Musimu's 209m record who unfortunately passed away last year. Rip Patrick...
I have been freediving over there in Calvi, Porto and Bonifacio and made my first introductory scuba dive in Calvi.
After this vacation I also made one in The Netherlands in the saltwaterlake named Grevelingen to check the waterconditions in our region.
I've decided to start a scuba diving course with NELOS in september, joined
a club called "Mantis Divers Club" near Ghent and by now I'm good on my way to get my 1*.
My interest in freediving has only grown during that period so I'm still looking
for information on how to follow an AIDA freediving course in Belgium near Ghent
since there isn't a lot of information available on this topic...
Anyhow, give me a PM if you could help me out with that...
