What are you doing in Belize?
Freediving, spearfishing, scuba diving....?

I see on Google Maps that the temperatures in Belize today is 22-30 Celsius/ 70-86 Fahrenheit.
That is nice :) I live in Norway, and 32.5 Celsius/ 90 Fahrenheit was the country's heat record this year.

I am at a Island resort off the coast of Belize and we do boat drift dives! Yeah the weather here is great, especially for going out to the water! Yeah I have never heard of Norway getting hot, I always here people saying its very cold

Boat drift dives how cool. Are you going fast? Sounds like fun :) but also sounds little bit risky.
I have to admit I'm jealous of the nice weather you have :(

Well actually its just drifting with the current so very minimal if not zero risk! Its a blast! Well you should look at coming to Belize some time to enjoy this great weather!

Having been to Cuba to spearfish often, is Belize a choiced spearring destination in your estimation. May head out there after my indian ocean foray. R the locals friendly to spearos n what about the govt?
Enjoy the good weather

Welcome. I've been here in Belize for 14 years and have speared fish from San Pedro to Ranguana. A few gaps. We got these fish Sunday somewhere near you….assuming you're on Turneffe. I'm about 25 miles west of you near Mullins River. Maybe we can hook up one day.

Sorry about the photos. Not sure how to post on this new format.

Sounds like an excellent plan, your pics did not come up.

I tried to post them the way I do on other forums. I copy and paste from Photobucket and paste in the URL slot where it says "image" here. But it doesn't come out. Any help?

Belize - lucky you!

Hank to post images just click on the little button of an image (the square with 2 mountain peaks & the sun), then paste your URL into the space on the form that appears. You links had an extra bunch of URL guff including tokens at the beginning - I've fixed them. Try pasting your link into Notepad or some editor to see what they look like & clean them up before pasting ;)

Here's a nice black from a couple weeks back I used Facebook and copied the image address. But the image address changes and the picture will disappear in a month or so.
I normally use Photobucket and copy the URL. It works on the other 4 sites I put photos on. ?? Not sure how to "clean it up". I'm an old fart and not too computer savvy.

I've got great memories of Belize ...its been about 10 years since I passed thru San Pedro cut late one nite after visitin Flower Garden (I think) -out by Chinchorro Reef. The biggest lobster I ever saw was there at San Pedro ... didnt gig it myself but had dinner at Mama Rosas ( I think) ... I swear that bug weighed in at 22 pounds!!!( maybe a stretch, but that guy was BIG!!)
Anyway thanx for posting and joggin the memories... :)

Hang49, I am Viktor from Brooklyn, NY. I am more than 30 years free diver/spear fishman incuding ice water spearing. I would like to make spear fishing tours in Belize with you. How could I contact you for details? Thank you.
