Just wanted to say Hi im living in cambria.Anyone else in the central coast area?Wanted to know some of the best spot to dive.Maybe do a little spearing.Anyway Hi and nicew to meet everyone.

Hi, and welcome to Deeperblue! I've been diving in Monterey and Catalina, and both were quite nice. I don't know about any diving in your area, but it is entirely possible.
Feel free to ask questions and browse. DB is a great resource. Again, welcome :).

Thanks,I need to get a wetsuit.Only place I have ever been diving is in the keys and I didnt need one.So im landbound until I pick one up.But hopefully I will get one before the warm season here.we have a late summer. But I see guys fishing right out on the beach here in front of my house there always bringing stuff in.So Hopefully It will make for some good diving in this area.

I'm in Los Osos. I dive the area a bit. There is plenty of diving around here, it's just about finding clear water. You can go from one cove to another and the viz can go from less than five feet to thirty feet. A kayak can help a lot.Best get in on some spearing now before the state puts in the mpa's next year. I saw montana de oro and Cambria are on the hit list

. I've never dove Cambria, but montana de oro is in my backyard and it is a great spot to dive. I plan to dive there more this summer, hit me up when you get a wetsuit!
Peace,
Kale

thanks I will. I hope we dont get hit here. But if we do I dont mind driving if i have to.And I have been thinking about a kayak as well.
