Sort of land locked here in Colorado. It's been a longtime dream of mine to go spear fishing in the clear blue waters some day. Now I am finally doing something about realizing this dream. I've started training at the pool, and hope to find a diving buddy to train at Aurora reservoir this summer. After only a few weeks training I'm now at a 2:30 static hold and 37 or so meters in the pool. I know not super impressive, but it's a start.

If anyone is in the Denver area and wants to try some local murky water holes, let me know.

Thanks,
Maghunter

Hey man, I'm from Kansas and should be moving to Colorado Springs or somewhere around there in about 2 months. I to want to learn to spearfish and I have done a little freediving as I'm SSI level 1 certified. I would love some pool time. My main problem is equalizing past 10 meters.

Side note: I'm looking at buying a cheap condo($40-$50,000)what areas would you recommend, how is Aurora?

Also p.m. me if you dont want to clutter this thread with my off topic question.
