Hi everyone, just a quick introduction to myself and my interests.

I live in Paris (France) and I dive mostly in the Atlantic Ocean ("Ile d'yeu" Island) where I fish bream, bream, bass, lobster ... I'm also addicted with traditional archery and bowhunting.

This forum is full of useful information for me, especially the spearfishing equipment with the DIY and homemade section. I've recently started researching info on pneumatic speargun and and there's still plenty that I haven't read !.

I've come on here in pursuit of knowledge and to interact with people that share common interests . Making some new friends would be cool so feel free to have a chat with me.
Any knowledge you can pass down to me would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much an take care !!!

Hi cebru, welcome to Deeperblue. It's good to hear that the information on this forum has proved useful and interesting to you. There is a lot of valuable knowledge in the archives as well as in the current membership. It's interesting to look at some of the threads and read about the pros and cons of different types of spearguns, different uses in different locations, and so on. Feel free to ask questions as you will, or post in the International Buddy Network subforum and see if there are other divers in your area.

Which species do you bowhunt? I would like to get into that at some point, when life settles down.

thank's guys...

BatRay, you can bowhunt all "regular" game in France the same as with a gun. The "chevreuil" is a particulary good game for the bowhunter. It looks like your whitetail but a little smaller maybe. Bunny and pheasant hunting are really funny to.

If you want to know what traditional bowhunting is have a look on this forum :
