Hi everyone, I am a spearfisher from Hawaii. I have been diving for around 2 and a half years. I have been reading all of the great material on this site, but I can't seem to find an answer for the specific problem I have and I was hoping someone could help me.
Almost everytime I dive, after about a couple hours, my right ear is impossible to equalize. I rarely have trouble easily breathing through both nostrils. I found that I have to take off my hood and mask when that happens. After a minute or so, I can spit a bunch of mucus out and I can go right back to equalizing fine. I'm glad I know how to fix it once it happens, but I rather prevent it from happening in the first place. If someone could point me in the right direction for help, I'd really appreciate it!
