Hi all, I just recently got stationed out in Oahu. I decided that while I'm out here, seeing as Im a HUGE fisherman on the east coast and love the water, i'd try something new.

Seeing as my tax refund came in :inlove, I went out to the store to by my gear. I picked up mask/snorkel, SeaWing Nova fins, boots/ gloves, diving buoy, and Hammerhead Evo 90 speargun. Have a few more things to get, but Looking forward to getting out in the water, well in the water more than I already am.

Hello,welcome to db.
We've got quite a few Hawaiian spearos on db, maybe you can link-up for some tips or buddies.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I will be sure to try and contact some of them, nothing worse then starting out in the dark.

Welcome from Texas! Wish I were there! On the bucket list.
