I'm a long time SCUBA diver that's taking the natural evolutionary step into freediving

Seeing that I'm kinda' new to this discipline I'm mostly here to learn from your collective experiences (techniques, gear reviews, safety points, etc.).
I live along the Red Sea, which is great for all types of fishing (spearfishing, trolling, bottom fishing). If you're not into any of that, the scenery alone is worthwhile!
