Hi

My names Michael, I have been a keen spearo since I was about 10, growing up in Oman, spending most days hunting the warm Indian Ocean. Around the reefs, Oil tankers and islands. I took a break once I moved back to the Uk when I was 17. Then in 2008 the fire was lit again when I spent 6 months in India, spearfishing in Goa and the Andaman Islands.

Being back in the Uk is bit of a culture shock, but I try to look past the greed and find time to be in nature, especially the sea.

Going on a few of my first Uk trips last year was amazing, the main difference was the kelp. I had never experienced any thing like it. Swimming trough these wonderful underwater land scapes in and out of small caves looking for bass.

I live in Canterbury, and so far I have only been to Portland, an 4 hr drive. I look forward to finding some new places a little closer to home and hearing the stories here of fello spearos.

Michael
