Hi Everyone,
Iam a new face here. Glad I found this place. I have been away from speerfishing and diving for about 5 years. Finally getting back into it. Cant wait for my first dive.
Looking to buy a Mares Cyrano 970. I have a Mares Shorty from about the mid 80's. Love the gun but want something a bit bigger. Anyone have any thoughts on this gun?

If JimDoe2you doesn't pick up on this thread, pm him. He's in Naples, just down the road, owns a spearfishing store, and is an encyclopedia on gear.

I will have to look him up. I only know of one dive shop in Naples. Maybe there is another. Thanks, Steve

He is mostly internet, but loves to talk spearo. For SW Florida, freediving or spearing, he is THE source.
