I've been interested in freediving for ages (and a member of this forum just as long), but only took my first course two years ago. I'm now _almost_ (combination of living in Colorado and having a course cut short by COVID lockdowns) a level 2 SSI freediver. I've also done a single pool competition (SFAC 2019), which was great motivation to learn and train.

I recently moved to Maui and want to make freediving (and spearfishing) a bigger part of my life, so I'm looking for partners, more courses, gear shops, whatever. I also have a Zodiac-style boat (Bombard C5), so if you know where to go, I can get us there!

I'm friendly and enthusiastic – if you want to dive with me, I want to dive with you! Looking forward to being more involved here.

Sellout - Congratulations on moving to paradise!
My family and I have recently been taking advantage of convenient/affordable flights to Hawaii. I've been to Oahu and Maui in the past few months and we are going back to Maui in January. I'd love to hear of any great shore snorkeling spots for January that may be a bit lesser known.
