It is great to meet you Jorge. I noticed on your website that you are a "9 time world record holder of static apnea and freediving".
Could you tell us some specifics about your world records like what year, times, and depths these records are for?

Jorge Mario is not in the AIDA database, but I think that were CMAS records - at least I found some notes about it on some private freediving web pages, though I did not manage to locate any official CMAS record history - I believe they stopped certifying records already several years ago, and do not have such data on their website (as far as I can tell). One of the records of Jorge Maria I saw mentioned on an unofficial website was 72m in a depth discipline, but it was not specified which one.

I have been doing for many years several spearfishing trips with cuban friends in Archipiélago de Camagüey an in Archipiélago de los Canareos...and I'll be back in December. Cuban spearos are very proficient and are home in the see water, despite they are very isolated from the other spearfishers and from the outside world. So every trip provides the opportunity to give us friendly some gear and to share technical advices. Buena suerte for your teaching plan!
