Hello from NJ.....

....just researching spearfishing sites and came across this one. Looks like a nice place.

I've been diving (scuba) for 14 years & spearfishing for the last 12 years and always off a boat off the NJ coast.

My best catch to date is a large fluke (10 lbs 13 oz) that I got last fall 2 days before the end of the summer flounder (fluke) season.



I've also done OK with 'tog (Blackfish) as well as Black Sea Bass. Lobstering has been less than ideal the last couple of years but I do snag a 5-7 lber occasionally.

Anyone else here dive NJ? I absolutely LOVE the diving here. I've done a couple of liveaboard warm water vacations but nothing comes close to the excitement of the NJ diving & hunting!

Wow! Nice pic...looks like you got the matching dinner set...the smaller you might eat with a salad fork.

You seem to be quite the harvester'o'the sea, NJ!
