I'm new to spearfish,
I have 37 Years, 25 bodyboarding 15 lifeguarding, and now i have some separe time to do this sport.
Just got almost everithing to start, not In a hurry because i got to recover a calf rupture, but soon.
 
Welcome to deeperblue. Do you plan to take a class? It's a very good way to get started.
 
I'll start diving with a couple of friend who PADI certified instrutors
 
Very good. A class is good as well, if/when you feel inclined

What happened to your calf, if I may ask?
 
While walking down The beach i heard a pop sound and got a Nice 16cm rip In my calf
