Hello from Russia!

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I was hunting on Baltic near Kaliningrad, on most places on UBK and some Caucasus shores and some places near Moscow. Fortunately hunting in Mexico is so much better and I'm only 4 hours of driving away from so-so place to hunt (Puerto Penasco) and 8 hours away from terrific one (SanCarlos). What are you using? Pneumo?

Kaliningrad this Baltic sea and there probably it is possible to take a cod, near Moscow it is pools, I there and to dive I am afraid necessarily poachers will put tackles, and in the river visibility not such as the sea.
I know Black sea better by virtue of that I there was born, from Anapa up to Novorossisk I know where what stone under water lays.

I apologize has forgotten to write, I using arbalets Beuchat and C4 Mr.Carbon 94.

Yep, you rigth about cod - but I was mostly hunting flounder at hat time. Much easier to hunt with very low power band guns we had at that time in USSR. Pneumatics came much later then I started spearfishing...
I've been to Novorrosisk area (Malorechenskaya? and\or some other place - I forgot the name - it was 30 years back).
Currently I hunt with Daryl Wong 55" composite gun and 42" Riffe Competitor.
How you like C4's? I'm not so big on carbon guns unless they water ballasted since only heavy band gun can reduce the recoil and carbon fiber usualy used to reduce weight. Have no experience, just general physics...

I still can read and right Russian :) but I type about 5 times slower in it. I will check that forum - it is blocked from my work...
Norway - that's cooooold. I still cannot make myself to go to Mexico to hunt at winter - and they have very well know Yellowtail competion at February since water is only 15C, which is way colder then 28C I usually hunt in. I guess I'm spoiled...
