Hello from Santa Barbara California

Hello members!

I found the site while doing research into making my first gun.

I have grown up in Santa Barbara and have recently moved back here from North Carolina after four years in the 82nd Airborne. I have spearfished for a long time but now that I have unlimited access to the ocean again my passion for the sport has grown rapidly. I purchased a 14 foot Zodiac W/30 hp nissan and know my cost line like that the back of my hand now. Every once and a while a buddy and I take it the 25 miles out to the Channel Islands when the water is glassed off. I know its a bit far for a Zodi but we have an EPIRB and UHF. Safety first!!
