Hello from Florida. New to spearfishing and would like to start talking with the community. What better way to than a forum.

I have never shot a speargun and am currently undergoing practice on my static (dry) apnea holds. I hope to take a freedive course later this year. Fishing , when I get the chance, is something I enjoy. Finishing school over in Central FL and will be attending school in St. Pete beach.

I hope to get to know quite a few of you all.

Welcome to Deeperblue! We do have a Beginner Spearfishing subforum, as well as a Spearfishing Equipment subforum that might have some info on that gun or on another that might suit your purposes. Lots of knowledgeable folks in there, so feel free to ask if you have questions.

Welcome to Deeper Blue. I grew up in St. Pete and started diving in Tampa Bay in the early 50s. From what I read, the spearfishing is still pretty good.
