As I more than often end up here when searching for freediving related stuff I thought I might as well join the forum.
Since the day my mother took me bathing/swimming the first time I've always preferred to be under the water surface than swimming on it.
I've been "freediving" for as long as I can remember, mostly on vacations to the Mediterranean, as I hate the cold water of the north (and I wear a shorty in the pool
). As of last year we bought a motorhome and the possibility to bring more things as larger fins etc with us. Me and my son has spent a lot of time snorkeling and freediving but felt we've come as far as we can without proper technique and training.
A couple of weeks ago we signed up for a CMAS Freediving course/training which will go on until May next year. Alexander's (my son 11 y/o) confidence has quadrupled in just a couple of weeks and looks forward to every training.
Can't wait for our Greece vacation next year
