Hello, my name is brandon and I'm not a fist pumper. I'm just a guy who loves to be underwater. I'm looking forward to speaking with all of you!

Hey,
How are you? hows the spearing going in Texas? Up here the vis has been real crappy but, if you don't mind 4' vis its ok. I have speared plenty of Tog and Flounder. The Stripers are starting to appear but they are still to small.

Have a great day,

Brandon

Hi Brandon, welcome to db.
I live very close to Jersey but 3500 miles away from you!

Viz has been low here too--got to get at least 10 miles off. Waiting for fall when it should clear at the jetties.

Yeah its been tough but if you want super fresh seafood you gotta get out there and try to make something happen. What kind of fish do you have on the jetties and how cold does the water get? Well have a great day

Water is very warm -80's. Off the jetties we get flounder (in the sand), mullet, sheepshead, some smaller grouper, croaker, black drum, large whiting, small spades, and some fair mutton snapper. Offshore at the rigs we can get grouper, cuda, AJ's, Ling (cobia), snapper, Dorado (Mahimahi), big sheepshead and many others. Viz nearshore is sometimes 0. Others 10-20'. usually 0.
