Hello everyone at Deeperblue!

I stumbled on this site looking for information on freediving. I first bumped into freedivers on my vacation to mexico last summer. On a visit to my parents we went to an island in Acapulco and met some freediving lobster hunters.

i'll be going to fort lauderdale Florida in the coming week and i'm hoping to get some time on the beach!

Welcome from Texas! Always have a dive buddy. Let someone know where you're going and when you should return. Be safe & have fun.

hello there mate

Welcome on DB hope you will find what you want... Be safe and take care

Welcome diveboy88. There seem to be few lobster freediver fatality stories in the news each season, so be careful but have fun too.

Hi Diveboy.
Have fun and dive safe.
Nice to see another Canadian here.
I spent quite a few years living in TO and got my degree from U of T.
Hope it's still the great townt that I remember.
Might be heading down there this summer to visit some friends.

Hi DB,

I'm from Toronto. There's lots to do here. I can't recommend the Toronto Freediving Club too highly. A great group of guys (& gals) who practice every Monday at an Olympic-size pool in the west end . . . then go out for beer afterwards, although I just can't handle hitting a bar during the workweek, so haven't done the pub crawl yet :friday

Some members are competing, some like us are just learning for recreation purposes, and the club does trips in the summer.

If you'd like to follow up, just send an email to info@freedivetoronto.com and one of the executive members (Doug, Aaron or Soren) will get back to you about what to do. Maybe we'll see you there.

Have fun,
Steve
