I am a med diver from Marmaris Turkey. You guys have some guns out there:inlove Since we usually do small fish hunting near the shore or at deeper places inside rocks etc. we use small guns. My biggest gun is a Omer Med Mimetic 100 and my local diver friends find it too long and cumbersome for the kind of fishing we are doing. However I want to try a new technique that I have inspired from you guys :). I have a long sail board (3.5 m) without a sail, I just want to rig it (using polyster rasin) to fit it for rowing similar to one of those sit on top fishing kayaks. I want to be able to go places with it inside Marmaris Bay where I can find fish and drift in mid waters with the board alongside me and be able to use the long gun. Is there a good way to attract fish in mid waters (depth 30-50 mts), or will this be a bad idea ? Thanks to you all guys for all your nice posts...

Max.

Hey - welcome !! im pretty sure someone will give you some input on your question.
I dont understand much about your waters , but i dont see any problems in modifying a board to be a sit on!! just make sure that its stuck to something , you or your gun maybe - you wont want to lose it:duh
