Hello All,

Well, after a very long time, I decided to take the plunge and get some gear and give spearfishing a go.
I have been on holiday from work for a week now and spent the last 5 days watching out for the courier delivering my new equipment. And at last it came today!
I have purchased a Cressi SL70 pneumatic gun, and have to say that the instructions that came with it are pretty poor.
Does anyone have any advice on how to rig it or tie the spear?
I am desperate to get started so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Woodsy

Welcome from Texas! I am sure there's a couple of blokes in your neighborhood who'll be happy to even tie the line for a pint-or two! :friday Seriously there's a bunch of DBer's right around you who are really good helpful sports. Watch out for APNEABOY--he's got thing about sheep. :blackeye

Welcome to DB! There is a 'London Club'; follow the link below...

Contact them and you will get lots of useful advice, some of them are members here on DB too.

Thanks for the warm welcome Agbiv and Spaniard, much apprecated.

Regarding the London club, I emailed them about 3 weeks ago, and have yet to recieve a response. Maybe they were having a slow day or more likely, maybe they are all out diving and will start responding to e-mails about late October ;-)
I'll give them another try and hopefully get through.

Thanks for your advice

Woodsy
