Extreme newbie here. I'm from Pittsburgh PA and just started my certification class. By april 1st I'll be all set - - - except that little part about not living anywhere near an ocean! I'm going to Spain this summer and heard Costa Del Sol is nice - anybody ever been there and have tips?

Costa Del Sol... hmmmm you might be better off going to the Costa Brava (north coast). The CDS is a haven for Brits and you'll find more British pubs on the beach side than you would on the Thames river rofl rofl

Contact Adrian for good info on the north coast - he lives there!

I second the recommendation, contact Adrian and ask him about the diving situation. Are there any lakes nearby where you can go in the meantime? I hope you enjoyed your cert, and welcome to DB.
