Hi, everybody:

I'm a new member to DeeperBlue.com. I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I did a lot of skin-diving in the ocean off the coast of Sonoma County back in the 1980s and am just now getting back into it.

Some new indoor pools have recently opened and I've been practicing there. I'm thinking of getting a monofin. Ever since I fell in love with skin-diving I've been fascinated by free-diving. I've watched many TV specials about it and recently been reading about it on the web.

I'm in my fifties and fast approaching sixty -- but I still feel like a kid in the water!

Welcome blue_wolf. Nice area .

I think it's that feeling that does make the water so special to a lot of us. We all feel reborn somewhat.

Welcome to DB!
