Hi there to all of you!!!

I currently live in the UK but have just got a job in Southern Italy (Calabria), so I have the unfortune (???:friday) to have to live 50 metres away from the beach in some of the best weather in Europe. Thought I would join to see if there is anyone out there that may know Calabria or some good spearfishing spots around this area???

Keep up the good work with the site - there is a vast amount of very useful information on it!!!

Pay attention in Calabria you have many good spots for spearing but there are also some big regional AMPs (Marine Protected Area), where our beloved sport is forbidden. Therefore, the best way to avoid big legal problems is going to the coastal guard office of the spot where you wanna spearfish, looking for info about it.
