Alright, well, I'm new to the site and thought I would go ahead and introduce myself. I'm also new to diving really, just finishing up a scuba course and headed to the Ft Lauderdale area for the last few checkout dives, but I'm also looking to get into freediving and eventually try spearfishing. I've always been comfortable underwater and enjoyed alot more (and done alot more) underwater swimming than surface so freediving seems like a good way to head. Not sure where I'll be after Christmas but if I end up in St Louis like I'm hoping I'll probably be looking for someone to try diving with.

Anter,
If you end up in Missouri let me know. I need a freedive buddy.
Also if you're still into scuba when you get to Missouri and need some dive buddies, check out the midwest diving council. Here's a link to their site.
Midwest diving council I don't know any of them but I've emailed them to find fellow freedivers in Missouri(no luck with that). They seem to be pretty a nice group.
Later,
Stitch
P.s. welcom to a great community.
