shrek is what my fellow divers call me as i dive with big green fibreglass fins
always looking to go deeper ,i enjoy tinkering with homemade gear but also
enjoy well priced comercial gear . any freedive training i do is to improve
fishing because it's all about the eating.

hello and welcome on DB. I agree with you it is all about eating :D
Enjoy safe diving and eating

i have just finnished a spear gun using an beauchet akara handle and shaft and rubber off the marlin the barrel is an 80 year old rimu door frame so it's well aged it laminated up ok, stained and varnished it looks good . tookit out for a swim and shoots real nice.
today i made a float line out of 6mm clear fuel hose with 300lb nylon core crimed and sealed with swivils on each end hopfully this will tangle less than rope.
i plan to eat lots of fish this summer!
